The Baby Bear Medical Fund is used for dogs whose medical needs are beyond the ordinary. Bear showed us that Misha May is supposed to take care of each dog that shows up in the best way possible. He will always be remembered as a dog well worth knowing and a character unto himself.

The following dogs are some of the animals currently being rehabilitated by Misha May because they came from shelters where they were unable to get this care. KohKoh requires reconstructive surgery to remedy congenital defects. Rusty has undergone successfull surgery to repair one knee; the second knee will be attended to after his recovery. Sprout will undergo corrective surgery for an eye condition.
Other dogs who have already benefited from Bear's legacy are Wendall, Grey, Jack aka Utah, Smokey Joe aka Raven, Buddy, and numerous Katrina rescues with heartworm disease.

Volunteer hours:
Present time until Garage Sale: Collect and store items.
Thursday, May 14: bakers, transport items and outdoor set-up.
Friday, May 15 from 6am - 6pm: Transport and handle dogs, merchandise sorters, sales, table bake sale and literature.
Saturday, May 16 from 7am - 5pm: Transport and handle dogs, merchandise sorters, sales, table bake sale and literature.

Volunteer for however many hours you can. We raised $2800 in 2007 for Grey's heart surgery. We raised $1600 in 2008 for the fund. It takes LOTS of items and LOTS of volunteer help starting now. If you have donations for the garage sale or would like to sign up to volunteer, please email mishamayfoundation@gmail.com
